To mark World Food Day Event, Cinema Politica Charlottetown, the PEI Food Security Network and the UPEI Applied Sciences Student Society will present
a documentary about a group of young Canadians who got on their bikes to raise awareness about the impacts of industrial agriculture. From the waterfronts of Vancouver to the mountaintops of Mexico, they discover the challenges faced by organic farmers. They see that many families do not have access to fresh food. Upon their return home, they are confronted by the reality of being part of the system they’re fighting against: can they practise what they preach?
Admission is free – donations accepted at the door.
